Gilbert’s Trail is a peaceful, tucked-away gem located near the base of Kennesaw Mountain. The trail opens up to an expansive field—one of the widest in the area—creating a stunning sense of space and openness that photographs beautifully. Scattered throughout are old wooden fences and a variety of large, cascading trees that provide soft shade and rich textures. In the spring, blooming trees and wildflowers add a burst of color, making this spot especially magical for romantic, family, or maternity sessions.
Why I Love This Location
There is something special about photographs taken while families are walking and interacting naturally. A trail setting gives us opportunities to capture movement and connection instead of relying entirely on posed portraits.
