Can I choose any location for my photography session?
Yes! For the most part! Most locations will be available for your session, but some require reservations, admission fees, permits, or have specific photography rules.

Do you photograph at locations that aren't on this list?
Absolutely! If you already have a preferred location in mind, I’m more than happy to photograph your session there. I’ve photographed sessions in clients’ front yards, backyards, neighborhood parks, and even random flower fields on highway exit ramps.
I’m pretty open to your preferences! Just share the location with me, and we’ll explore the possibilities.
Can I shoot at more than one location during a session?
Yes! We can definitely incorporate more than one location into your session. We’ll just need to consider the logistics, including how much time we’ll spend at each location and the travel time between them.
Additional time beyond my signature one-hour session may be needed depending on the locations we choose.
Which location is best for family photos?
It depends on the look you’re going for, the age of your children, the season, and other factors. I can help you choose a location that fits your session. If you’re torn between a few favorites, just ask! I’m happy to help you narrow it down.
What is the best time of day for photos?
This varies by location, season, and the type of light we’re looking for. For the most ideal outdoor lighting, I generally try to schedule sessions within the first two hours after sunrise or the last two hours before sunset.
I know that with families, naps, bedtimes, school, and different schedules can make those times challenging! Some locations do allow for midday sessions, and we can definitely discuss those options if midday works best for your family
