Rope Mill Park
One of Woodstock's most beloved parks, Rope Mill Park offers a beautiful mix of natural scenery and timeless charm. A paved walking path follows the river, leading to a picturesque bridge that creates wonderful opportunities for both candid and posed portraits. The wooded surroundings provide gorgeous light throughout the year, making this location a favorite for families, couples, maternity, and seniors.
During the fall and winter months, the river water recedes, revealing the riverbed below. If you're feeling a little adventurous (and don't mind a bit of mud on your shoes), stepping down into the riverbed creates a truly unique backdrop with natural textures, flowing water, and stunning views that make for unforgettable images.
